What happens when you step into a
conversation with the sound you are?
When you invite it to tune itself
to a single moment, to a single feeling alive inside you?
What happens when you allow
yourself to be the hollow bamboo, the sound moving through and the listener too?
Where will your sound lead you?
What will it reveal you?
What will it teach you about you?
And – are you willing to know?
What lives inside you now is only
there because it has never been given the chance to express, the chance to be
heard and acknowledged.
The sound that stays within is a
prisoner – for sound is meant to move, just as birds are meant to fly.
When your sound moves freely, you
are no longer a storehouse.
You become an orchestra.
A tapestry of resonance.
A storyteller –
one that holds their original
sound as a compass.
One who allows their sound to
guide them.
One that trusts and honours their
own music, their own tides.
May peace be with you.
